Government Appoints IAS Shailesh to Key Role in National Health Authority for Four-Year Term- Know More About Him

New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Shailesh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2013 batch from the Tripura cadre, as Deputy Secretary in the National Health Authority (NHA), Delhi.

Four-Year Tenure Under Central Staffing Scheme

According to the official order, the appointment is made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier. He has been relieved of his current duties with immediate effect and instructed to take up his new role without delay.

Role Within the Department of Health & Family Welfare

Mr. Shailesh will serve under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. His new position at the National Health Authority places him at the heart of India’s efforts to expand and manage large-scale health initiatives and digital health systems.
