Government engaged in implementing PM Modi’s nine requests, Chief Secretary held a meeting, gave these guidelines

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has started implementing the 9 requests of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the state. In this episode, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting of officials. He issued instructions to comply with the Prime Minister’s request made to the residents and tourists of the state. During this, the concerned officials have also been asked to prepare an action plan on these requests related to different sectors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also made 9 requests along with the congratulatory message on the State Foundation Day of Uttarakhand. The requests for the Prime Minister were from the tourists visiting Uttarakhand and the residents of the state. The Uttarakhand government has decided to work on these requests of the Prime Minister. For this, guidelines have also been issued to the officials on these works related to various sectors. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has also asked all the District Magistrates including the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary-in-charge to work in this regard.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has also directed the Higher Education and School Education Department to prepare an action plan in relation to the conservation of local dialects like Garhwali, Kumaoni, Jaunsari in the state. The Forest Department has also been asked to prepare an action plan on the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take forward the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ program regarding environmental conservation. Similarly, for the conservation of rivers, the Water Resources Department has been asked to work in this regard and prepare its report on it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the people of the state to connect with their roots. Through this, he also gave a message to the people to turn towards their villages. Apart from this, the Prime Minister also urged for the conservation of traditional houses in the village. For which the tourism department has been asked to make an action plan. Departmental officials have also been instructed to make better progress in all these works through mutual coordination and to connect the common people with it. During this time, the Prime Minister has already said things like not using plastic, remembering the mantra of Vocal for Local. For which the government is also trying to run special programs to increase the participation of common people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also made some requests to the tourists for Uttarakhand, which included taking care of the cleanliness system and following the traffic rules in the state as well as being aware of the customs and rules of religious places. In this way, the Uttarakhand government is trying to fulfill all the requests made for the local people and tourists in Uttarakhand through various programs and schemes.
