Dehradun: The public grievance redressal camps organized across the state under the state government’s “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” initiative are proving to be extremely effective for the common people. Through this campaign, the government is reaching out directly to the public and ensuring the swift resolution of their problems.
As of January 13, 2026, a total of 326 camps have been organized in 13 districts of the state, in which 2,51,407 citizens participated. 26,722 complaints have been received in these camps so far, out of which 18,123 complaints have been successfully resolved. This is direct proof of the state government’s sensitive and accountable working style.
The concerned officials informed that 36,682 applications related to various departments have been received through the camps, on which action is being taken within the stipulated time frame. In addition, 1,37,641 individuals have been directly benefited from various public welfare schemes.
The large number of citizens participating in districts like Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri Garhwal, Almora, and Dehradun shows that this campaign is fulfilling the real needs of the people. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials to resolve the remaining pending complaints and applications on a priority basis.
The Chief Minister clarified that the state government’s intention is not limited to merely listening to problems, but to provide solutions, ensure transparency, and strengthen public trust. Through “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep,” a direct dialogue has been established between the government and the people, which is a strong step towards a developed Uttarakhand.
