Gandhinagar: With the Lok Sabha polls knocking at the door, the government of Gujarat mandated the transfer of as many as 65 (Deputy Superintendents of Police) DSPs and eight IPS officers.
Mr. J M Yadav, the incumbent ACP of Cybercrime, was transferred as the DSP of Sabarmati Central Jail. ACPs in Ahmedabad, Mr. A P Jadeja and Mr. Milap Patel were mandated to assume office as DSP central jail in Rajkot and SDPO of Mehsana, respectively. Officer Ashok Rathva, posted as ACP city traffic, was posted as ACP, C Division, Vadodara.
The IPS transfers have not been announced yet.
