Gujarat: A major reshuffle of IPS enacted

Gandhinagar (14.04.2024): A major promotion and reshuffle of IPS officers have been enacted in Gujarat. The name of these officers are as follows:

1. Manoj Agarwal (IPS:1991: GJ), Director, Civil Defence and Commandant General, Home Guards, Ahmedabad, has been promoted to Director General of Police Grade and appointed as Director, Civil Defence and Commandant General, Home Guards, Ahmedabad.
2. Dr K Laxmi Narayan Rao (IPS:1992: GJ), Additional Director General of Police, Prisons & Correctional administration, Ahmedabad, has been promoted to Director General of Police Grade and appointed as Director General of Police, Prisons & Correctional administration, Ahmedabad.
3. Gyanender Singh Malik (IPS:1993: GJ), Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City, has been promoted to Director General of Police Grade and appointed as Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City.
4. Hasmukh Patel (IPS: 1993: GJ), Managing Director, Gujarat Police Housing Corporation, Gandhinagar, has been promoted to Director General of Police Grade and appointed as Managing Director, Gujarat Police Housing Corporation, Gandhinagar.
