Haridwar: IAS officer Mayur Dixit took charge as Haridwar District Magistrate today on June 4. After taking charge, District Officer Mayur Dixit included good governance in his priority and warned that officers and employees who do not work properly should be ready for action.
Haridwar District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that the upcoming monsoon season and Kanwar Mela are his priorities. Kanwar Mela has to be completed safely. District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has made it clear that he will not tolerate any kind of negligence in work.
He said that officers doing good work will be supported. At the same time, officers and employees who are negligent will not be spared. All the schemes of the government will be made available to the general public and along with surprise inspections from time to time, feedback will also be taken from the general public. If any negligence or complaint of any officer is received, action will also be taken against them.
Monsoon season is his priority
District Officer Mayur Dixit said that at present the monsoon season is his priority. A meeting will be held regarding the preparations made by the Municipal Corporation for the monsoon. If any work is required, it will also be completed soon.
The main focus will be on the Kavad fair
District Officer Mayur Dixit said that he has less time for the Kavad fair. In such a situation, preparations for the Kavad will have to be done on time.
