Dehradun: HESCO founder Padma Bhushan Dr Anil Prakash Joshi, former Vice President of Infosys Global (Sustainability and Design Business) Dr. Corey Glickman and Amit Bhatia of the corporate world met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday and discussed various issues.
Former Vice President of Infosys Global and Visiting Professor of Oxford University Dr. Corey Glickman thanked the Chief Minister for implementing the system of Gross Environment Product (GEP) for the first time in the state of Uttarakhand and also working seriously on environmental aspects. Dr. Corey informed that soon a conference on global level environmental aspects is going to be organized in Pittsburgh, USA. In which issues like GEP and balance of ecology and economy will be discussed in detail. For which he also invited the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister said that the state of Uttarakhand is working by maintaining a balance between development and environment and work is being done on various such aspects. Which create a balance between ecology and economy. He said that work is being done in the water conservation and conservation of forest wealth of Uttarakhand.
