HP: Govt Announces Major Transfer of 9 IFS Officers, Saroj Patel Appointed CF (Wildlife), Dharamshala

In a significant shake-up within the Forest Department in Himachal Pradesh, the state government has transferred 16 forest officers, including nine Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers and seven state forest service officers. This move, aimed at enhancing departmental efficiency and management, was officially communicated through an order issued by Principal Secretary Forest Amandeep Garg.

The key appointments are as follows:

2010 batch Indian Forest Service Officer (IFS) Saroj Bhai Patel has been appointed as Chief Forest Officer (CF) for Wildlife in Dharamshala.
IFS Neeraj Kumar will take over as CF for Rampur.
IFS T. Venkatesan has been designated as Deputy Director of Planning in Solan.
IFS Arvind Kumar is assigned as Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) for Finance Headquarters.
IFS Divya will serve as DCF (Territorial) in Shimla.
IFS Guruharsh Singh has been transferred to DCF (Territorial) Kinnaur.
IFS Sameer Raj will now be DCF (Territorial) Rajgarh.
IFS Mane Navnath Shivaji has been appointed as DCF (Territorial) in Dalhousie.

Additionally, the following district forest officers have been reassigned:

Sushil Kumar Guleria, previously DFO Churah, will now serve as DFO Headquarters CCF Chamba.
Rajneesh Mahajan, formerly DFO Dalhousie, has been appointed as DFO Churah.
The new Assistant Conservators of Forests (ACFs) include:

Navjot Singh as ACF Mandi.
Varun Bharwal as ACF Bilaspur.
Karan Kapoor as ACF Kinnaur.
Nitin as ACF Hamirpur.
Aditya Sharma as ACF Paonta Sahib.
