New Delhi : A delegation of IAS officers will travel across the country and will visit to over 25 countries to attract investment in the run up to ‘Rising Rajasthan’ global investment summit 2024 scheduled to be held from December 9 to 11 in Jaipur.
IAS officers have been asked to visit different locations to establish communication with entrepreneurs. “These IAS officers will maintain regular contact with representatives of foreign and domestic companies along with the jurisdiction of the government they fall in. They will visit potential investors of different regions as diplomats specialise in the affairs of China, Japan, Russia and US. The only thing is that these officers will coordinate from Rajasthan,” Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma said.
Sharma added that the Rajasthan government is focussing to double its GDP from $184 billion to $350 billion in the next five years. This is an ambitious target and therefore the state plans to host the Rising Rajasthan summit.
