Amidst a recent development, two 1993-batch bureaucrats were transferred. Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh (1993-batch Manipur cadre IAS officer) was empanelled as Secretary in the Union Government. Mr. Prem Kumar Jha (1993-batch Odisha cadre IFoS officer), presently posted as Joint Secretary in the Department of Sports, was prematurely repatriated to his home cadre.
