Mr. Priyatu Mandal, a 2006-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS officer, has been appointed Director & Head of the Institute of the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee National Institute of Water and Sanitation (SPM-NIWAS) in Kolkata, under the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, at the Joint Secretary level.
