In a 22-minute press conference, CM Dhami answered 14 questions and presented his stance on the Ankita Bhandari murder case

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke openly to the media today regarding the ongoing protests against the government in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. Although the occasion was meant to inform the public about the VB G RAM G scheme, as soon as the Ankita Bhandari case came up during the press conference, the Chief Minister wrapped up the scheme discussion in 14 minutes.

During the press conference on the Ankita Bhandari murder case, CM Dhami answered 14 questions in 22 minutes. He spoke openly about what the government is doing in this entire matter. CM Dhami not only answered the journalists’ questions but also repeatedly stated during the press conference that he would answer every question today.

CM speaks openly

During the press conference, which lasted approximately 22 minutes, CM Dhami explained the sequence of events in the Ankita murder case from its initial stages. He said that this case came to light during his tenure as Chief Minister, and the government immediately took action, carrying out the necessary procedures for such a heinous crime. However, some people are still repeatedly pointing fingers at the organization and the government regarding this matter.

We are ready for every investigation

CM Dhami said that the government and agencies have repeatedly urged people that if anyone has any evidence in this case, they should come forward and provide it. Their names will be kept confidential. But so far, no one has come forward. The Chief Minister said that a new name is now emerging through a viral audio clip, and various things are being said in that audio call. If there is any truth to it, the government is ready for every investigation. CM Dhami asked Urmila Sanawar and former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore that if they have any evidence, they should contact the agencies and record their statements on this entire matter.

Why so much fuss over the audio? Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in a press conference that if anyone knows their location, they can inform us, because the kind of atmosphere being created in the state through an audio clip is not right. Naming someone in an audio clip and then creating such an atmosphere in the state is not in the state’s interest. The Chief Minister said that the audio clip that is causing so much uproar contains various claims. Sometimes it is being called a murder, and sometimes a suicide. However, what has emerged from the investigation is absolutely clear.

The clouds will clear, the fog will lift, and the sun will shine again.

The Chief Minister gave a message to his opponents through a poetic couplet. He said that the atmosphere being created in the state will soon be rectified. The clouds will clear, the fog will lift, and the sun will shine again.

Dhami said that Ankita is our daughter, and everyone has seen how quickly we have acted in this case. The Chief Minister also clearly stated that this is not the first such case. Similar audio clips had surfaced earlier in the paper leak case. Now, a similar audio clip has surfaced again.

Message to Suresh Rathore

Through the press conference, Chief Minister Dhami also sent a message to Suresh Rathore. He said that Suresh Rathore is a respected citizen and a former MLA. Therefore, he should come forward at this time and clarify everything. Otherwise, the police are already doing their job, going to his house daily to serve notices and search for him. But, so far, neither of them has come forward.
