Dehradun: The team of NITI Aayog reached Uttarakhand on a two-day visit on Saturday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed the team of NITI Aayog. CM Dhami said that NITI Aayog is a very important institution of the Government of India. NITI Aayog has a huge contribution in taking the country forward on the path of development. It is through NITI Aayog that we inform the central government about the challenges of our state. Recently, a meeting of NITI Aayog was also held in this regard.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand has performed well on the parameters of NITI Aayog. Uttarakhand has been number one in the country in achieving the goals of sustainable development. Further, the work of linking rivers will also be considered. However, all the states of the country have their own challenges. The work of the plains is different and the challenges of our Himalayan states are different. We have always said that according to the challenges of the Himalayan states, we should get assistance on priority basis. The disaster management system of our state should be better. Government of India and NITI Aayog should help us in all these matters.
