Dehradun: The government made major changes in the bureaucracy late on Thursday night. 31 IAS, one IFS, one secretariat service and 24 PCS officers including District Magistrates of four districts were transferred.
According to the order issued, Pauri District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan has now been given the responsibility of CEO of UCADA, Director Sports and Youth Welfare. In his place, Additional Secretary to Governor, Technical Education, NHM Mission Director Swati S Bhadauria has been made the District Magistrate of Pauri. The government has given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Personnel to Champawat District Magistrate Navneet Pandey. In his place, CDO Udham Singh Nagar Manish Kumar has been made the DM of Champawat.
Rudraprayag District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar has been made Managing Director SIDCUL and Director General Industries. In his place, MD SIDCUL Prateek Jain has been made the DM of Rudraprayag. Uttarkashi DM Meherban Singh Bisht has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Energy, Cooperation and Director UREDA, in his place Additional Secretary Child Development and Director Sports Prashant Kumar Arya has been given the responsibility of District Magistrate Uttarkashi.

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been relieved from the Water Resources Department. IAS Sachin Kurve has been relieved of the responsibility of Secretary Tourism, CEO Tourism Development Council. Cooperation has been removed from Secretary Finance Dilip Jawalkar and has been given the Water Resources Department. Secretary Animal Husbandry and Chief Electoral Officer Dr. BVRC Purushottam has been given the Cooperation Department. Labor Department has been removed from Secretary Public Works Department Dr. Pankaj Pandey. Urban Area Development Agency has been removed from Secretary Panchayati Raj Chandresh Yadav and the responsibility of Commissioner Food has been given to him. The responsibility of Director Audit has been removed from Secretary Finance Dr. V Shanmugam. Irrigation and Minor Irrigation has been removed from Secretary Health Dr. R Rajesh Kumar.
At the same time, Social Welfare Department has been removed from Secretary Dr. Neeraj Khairwal and the responsibility of Language Department has been given to him. Secretary Planning Sridhar Babu Addanki has been given the Social Welfare and Labor Department. Secretary Jugal Kishore Pant has been removed from the post of Language and Swajal and has been given Irrigation and Minor Irrigation. Secretary Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has been removed from Minority Welfare and has been given the responsibility of Tourism. IFS Parag Madhukar Dhakate has been removed from Jalgam and has been made Special Secretary Minority Welfare. IAS Harish Chandra Kandpal has been kept on compulsory waiting while Director Employment has been removed from the post of Director. Additional Secretary Manuj Goyal has been removed from the post of Sainik Welfare and has been given the responsibility of Technical Education and Mission Director NHM. Director Skill Development Sanjay Kumar has been given additional charge of Director Employment by removing Dairy Development and Women Dairy from him.
Responsibility of CEO of PMGSY has been taken back from Additional Secretary Himanshu Khurana. Education has been removed from Additional Secretary Tourism Abhishek Ruhela and he has been given the responsibility of Urban Area Development Agency. IAS Deepti Singh has been relieved from the responsibility of Labor Commissioner and made Director General of Education. Divesh Shasni has been removed from CDO Almora and given the responsibility of CDO Udham Singh Nagar. Additional Secretary Shyam Singh, an officer of Secretariat Service, has also been given Sainik Welfare along with Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry.
Transfer of 24 PCS officers
PCS Bharat Singh Firmal has been relieved from RFC Kumaon and made Additional Secretary Secretariat Service. Secretary UKSSSC has been kept on compulsory waiting. Secretary Child Commission Shiv Kumar Barnwal has also been given the responsibility of UKSSSC Secretary. Registrar Ayurveda University Ramji Sharan Sharma has been made CDO Almora. Ashok Kumar Joshi has been made Director of Milk Development and Women’s Dairy by relieving him from the post of ADM US Nagar. Trilok Singh Martolia has been removed from ED Sugar Mill Kichha and made RFC Kumaon, Commissioner Sugarcane Sugar PC Dumka has been made Additional Housing Commissioner, Joint Commissioner and made Labour Commissioner and Secretary Workers Board.
At the same time, ADM Uttarkashi Pyarelal Shah has been made Municipal Commissioner Kotdwar, Secretary Information Commission Raza Abbas has been given additional charge of Additional Municipal Commissioner Dehradun. ADM Nainital Fincharam has been made ADM Haridwar, Municipal Commissioner Rishikesh Shailendra Negi has been made ADM Nainital, Municipal Commissioner Kotdwar Vaibhav Gupta has been made Joint Director Urban Development, Kaustubh Mishra has been removed from the post of Deputy Collector and made ADM in US Nagar itself.
