The Union government has lately extended the central deputation tenure of Ms. Ranjita Rashmi as the Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for two more years. The extension order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Ms. Rashmi, a 2002-batch Indian Ordnance Factories Services officer, for two years beyond 18th November 2024, up to 18th November 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
