The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the premature repatriation of Mr. Satendra Kumar, a 2010-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IPS officer, to his parent cadre.
Mr. Satendra Kumar was serving as Deputy Inspector General (Deputy Director) in the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) prior to this decision. His repatriation to Uttar Pradesh has been effected at his own request, in accordance with the provisions outlined under para-14.2 of the IPS Tenure Policy.
The officer is expected to take up a new assignment in his home cadre following his return.
