IPS Rahul S To Be Deputed As DIG, National Investigation Agency

Amidst a recent development, the Centre has requested the Punjab government to release IPS Rahul S so that he could be deputed in the Centre as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the National Investigation Agency.

Officer Rahul S, a 2008-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer, was last posted as the DIG-cum-Director in the Vigilance Bureau of Punjab. The order from the competent authority read, “Rahul S, IPS (PB:2008), (to be deputed) as Deputy Inspector General in National Investigation Agency (NIA) against existing vacancy on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”
