The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has appointed IPS officer Shilpa D (IPS: 2016: KL) as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The appointment, confirmed through an official order issued on Friday (28.03.2025), is for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
This appointment marks a significant step in Shilpa D’s career as she joins the prestigious agency, bringing her expertise to the investigative and law enforcement services of the CBI.
