IPS Sudanshu Verma Appointed DCP, Licensing, Delhi Police; IOFS Shainky Rastogi Appointed Deputy Secy, CVC

New Delhi: In a series of key appointments, IPS officer Sudanshu Verma of the J&K-AGMUT cadre has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Licensing, in Delhi Police. Sudanshu Verma will oversee the regulatory processes surrounding licenses related to arms, explosives, and other controlled substances in the capital, bringing his experience to improve safety and compliance.

Additionally, Shainky Rastogi, an Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) officer from the 2013 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary at the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) in Delhi. Rastogi, who was previously serving as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) in the Procurement Division of the Ammunition Factory Khadki (AFK), Pune, will join the CVC on a central deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme. His tenure at the Commission will be for a period of four years.

These appointments are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and governance in key government departments.
