The process of adding names of new voters continues

Accused the government of extending the tenure of its administrators
According to the case, the PIL of Jaspur resident Mohammad Anwar said that the tenure of municipalities and municipal bodies ended in December 2023. It has been eight months since the term ended, but the government has not announced the election schedule. On the contrary, the bodies extended the tenure of their administrators.
Common people are facing problems due to the absence of elections
Common people are facing many problems due to the appointment of administrators. An administrator is appointed when a body is dissolved. In that situation also, it is necessary for the government to conduct elections within six months. The bodies have completed their tenure, but the schedule for conducting elections has not been announced yet. The government should be directed again to conduct elections soon.
