Karnataka: 25 IPS Officers Reshuffled, K Thiyagarajan Appoints IGP, Internal Security

On June 3rd, the government of Karnataka mandated the transfer of several IPS officers. A total of 25 IPS officers were transferred, including several Inspector Generals of Police (IGP), Commissioners of Police (CPs) and Deputy Commissioners (DCPs).
Mr. Labhu Ram (2004 batch), presently posted as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Intelligence, was transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police of Central Range, Bengaluru, replacing Mr. B R Ravikanthe Gowda.
Dr. B R Ravikanthe Gowda (2005 batch) was transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police in Headquarters-1, Bengaluru.
Mr. K Thiyagarajan (2008 batch), the incumbent Inspector General of Police (Eastern) in Davangere, was made Inspector General of Police of the Internal Security Division.
Mr. N Shashi Kumar (2007 batch), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Police, and Commissioner of the Youth Empowerment and Sports Department, was transferred as the Commissioner of Police in Hubballi-Dharwad.
Mr. B Ramesh (2009 batch), the incumbent Commissioner of Police in Mysuru, is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Eastern), Davangere.
Ms. Seema Latkar, the incumbent Superintendent of Police in Mysuru, was posted as Commissioner of Police in Mysuru.
Ms. Renuka K Sukumar, presently posted as Commissioner of Police of Hubballi-Dharwad, was transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Crime) in Police Head Quarters in Bengaluru.
Officer C K Baba, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) in Bengaluru, was posted as Superintendent of Police in Bengaluru Rural.
Officer N Vishnuvardhana, the incumbent Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police in Mysuru.
Mr. Suman D Pennekar, presently posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration) in the State Police Headquarters in Bengaluru, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police in the Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF).
Officer C B Ryshyanth, presently posted as the Superintendent of Police in Dakshina Kannada, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (Wireless) in Bengaluru.
Officer Chennabasavanna Langoti, the incumbent Superintendent of Police in Bidar, was posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration) in the State Police Headquarters of Bengaluru.
Mr. Narayana M, Superintendent of Police of Kolar, was made Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada.
Ms. Sarah Fathima, the incumbent Superintendent of Police in the Criminal Investigation Department of Bengaluru, was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Bengaluru.
Mr. Arunangshu Giri, the incumbent Deputy Commissioner of Police in the City Armed Reserve Headquarters in Bengaluru, was made Superintendent of Police of the Central Investigation Department in Bengaluru.
Mr. Nagesh D L, presently Superintendent of Police of Chikkaballapur, was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police in the City Armed Reserve, Headquarters in Bengaluru.
Ms. Padmini Sahoo, presently posted as Superintendent of Police in Chamarajanagara, was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) in Bengaluru.
Mr. Pradeep Gunti, the incumbent Superintendent of Police (Prisons) Headquarters, was made Superintendent of Police in Bidar.
Officer Yatish N, the incumbent Superintendent of Police of Mandya, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Dakshina Kannada.
Mr. Mallikarjun Baldandi, presently posted as Superintendent of Police in Bengaluru Rural, was posted as Superintendent of Police in Mandya.
Ms. Shobha Rani V J., last posted as Superintendent of Police in the Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF), was posted as Superintendent of Police in Ballari.
Ms. Kavitha B T, presently posted as Superintendent of Police in the Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement in Mysuru, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Chamarajanagara.
Mr. Nikhil B, last posted as the Superintendent of Police in Raichur, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police in Kolar.
Officer Kushal Chouksey, the incumbent Joint Director in the Forensic Science Laboratory of Bengaluru, was made the Superintendent of Police in Chikkaballapur.
Officer Mahaning Nandaganvi, the incumbent Superintendent of Police in Intelligence, was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Hubballi Dharwad.
