Kashipur farmer’s suicide case: CM Dhami says no culprit will be spared

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured the family of Sukhwant Singh, a farmer from Kashipur who committed suicide, that they would receive justice. He said that no negligence would be tolerated at any level in the investigation of this case. The government stands with the victim’s family with complete sensitivity. No one responsible for this incident will be spared.

The Chief Minister spoke to Sukhwant Singh’s brother, Parvinder Singh, over the phone, expressing his condolences and offering comfort to the family. Speaking to the brother over the phone in the presence of the deceased Sukhwant Singh’s father and other family members, the Chief Minister said that while this tragic incident cannot be undone, the government is committed to ensuring that those responsible are punished severely according to the law.

The CM said that as soon as he received information about the incident, he immediately instructed senior officials to take action and ordered a magisterial inquiry by the Kumaon Commissioner. The Chief Minister assured the family of justice at all costs. He said that whenever any incident occurs in the state, the government has acted promptly and with commitment to ensure justice for the victims. The CM said he would meet the victim’s family soon.
