Kedarnath Dham’s doors opened, Chief Minister distributed prasad to the devotees in the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara, also met devotees from different states

Rudraprayag: On the occasion of opening of the doors of the world famous eleventh Jyotirlinga Shri Kedarnath Dham, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed prasad to the devotees in the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara organized in the Kedarnath premises. During this, he also honored the environmental friends engaged in the cleanliness of Kedarnath, the people who made their significant contribution in the reconstruction work.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with his wife distributed prasad and served food to the devotees under the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara. The devotees looked very happy to have the Chief Minister among them. During this, thousands of people took the prasad of Mukhya Sevak Bhandara. The Chief Minister met the devotees who came to Kedarnath and also took feedback from them about the arrangements made for the Yatra. The devotees expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the various arrangements made by the state government for the Yatra.

The Chief Minister wished all the countrymen on the opening of the doors of Baba Kedarnath. He said that the doors of Badrinath will open on May 4. The state government is fully prepared to welcome the devotees coming from all over the country and to facilitate their journey. The Chief Minister said that last year there was a disaster in the Kedarnath area, due to which the pilgrimage was disrupted for about 35 days. The government and the administration restarted the pilgrimage with the cooperation of the local people, as a result of which a record number of devotees came to the Char Dham.

The Chief Minister said that the state government continuously monitors the pilgrimage at every level. Various basic facilities have also been established on the travel routes. He said that the Char Dham Yatra is also the lifeline of the state. This pilgrimage is also a means of livelihood for millions of people. The Chief Minister said that the state government is determined to ensure that the Char Dham Yatra continues throughout the year, for which winter pilgrimage has also been started in the state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Maa Ganga in Mukhwa, Uttarkashi to promote winter pilgrimage in the state.

The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of all the people of the state. He said that the reconstruction work of Kedarnath is being done under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister regularly reviews the Kedarnath reconstruction work. The grand construction work of Kedarnath is going on at a cost of 2000 crores. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Central Government has approved the construction of ropeway from Gaurikund to Kedarnath.

On this occasion, Mrs. Geeta Pushkar Dhami, MLA Mrs. Asha Nautiyal, Dr. Madhu Bhatt, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, Tirtha Purohit Srinivas Posti, Ankit Semwal, Umesh Posti Himanshu Chamoli and others were present.
