Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gifted the people of Khatima a high-tech bus terminal. He inaugurated the bus terminal, built at a cost of approximately Rs 11.27 crore. During the inauguration, CM Dhami said that it had been his childhood dream to have a high-tech bus terminal in Khatima, as he had witnessed the problems associated with the old bus terminal since his childhood. Therefore, after becoming the Chief Minister of the state, he has fulfilled his dream of constructing a high-tech bus terminal.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Maharana Pratap Bus Station, built at a cost of Rs 11.27 crore, in Khatima on Wednesday, January 14th. Nainital Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt was also present with CM Dhami at the bus terminal inauguration ceremony. He said that on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, the people of Khatima have received the facility of a high-tech bus terminal. Now, the public will have convenience in catching buses and commuting.
Why was the Khatima bus terminal named Maharana Pratap Bus Station? CM Dhami said that he had previously announced that the bus terminal would be named after the brave Maharana Pratap. This is so that the younger generation can remember the name of the brave Maharana Pratap and become familiar with his courage and valor. He assured the people of Khatima that he would not let there be any कमी (shortage/lack) in the development of Khatima.
