Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has taken an important step towards making the food safety system in the state more robust and effective and has made a major administrative reshuffle in the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department. Under this reshuffle, bumper transfers of designated officers posted across the state have been made. A total of nine officers have been transferred in the order issued by the government. The commissioner has also directed that all officers should ensure contribution at their new place of posting with immediate effect.
A look at the transfer list
1- PC Joshi has been sent from Almora to Pauri.
2- Amitabh Joshi has been transferred from Chamoli to Bageshwar.
3- Lalit Mohan Pandey has been transferred from Bageshwar to Udham Singh Nagar.
4- Prakash Chandra Phulara will now serve in Almora from Udham Singh Nagar.
5- Sanjay Kumar has been sent from Nainital to Haridwar.
6- Manoj Kumar Singh has been transferred from Rudraprayag to Chamoli.
7- Ajab Singh Rawat will now take charge from Pauri to Rudraprayag.
8- Mahima Anand Joshi has been transferred from Haridwar to Nainital.
9- Pawan Kumar has been transferred from Jaspur (Udham Singh Nagar) to Bhagwanpur (Haridwar). He has been given additional charge along with Bhagwanpur.
Statement of Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar This administrative reshuffle was necessary to ensure transparency and efficiency of food safety system in the state. This step has been taken with a view to better utilize the efficiency of the officers. We want quality and safe food items to be available to the consumers. All the officers have been instructed to immediately join the new place of posting so that there is no disruption in food safety related work.
