Dehradun: MLAs Sahdev Pundir, Khajan Das, Suresh Chauhan, Bharat Chaudhary, Sanjay Dobhal, Anil Nautiyal, Pritam Panwar and other public representatives paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday.
During the courtesy visit, the public representatives apprised the Chief Minister of various developmental demands and local problems of their respective areas. The Chief Minister assured to give necessary instructions to the concerned departments for the speedy resolution of all demands.
The Chief Minister said that the aim of the state government is to provide quick and transparent services to the public. He emphasized that with the active participation of public representatives, the solution of problems and development work will be more effective.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged the MLAs to personally visit the areas affected by the recent natural disasters in various areas of the state and cooperate in providing timely assistance to the needy families. The Chief Minister said that the government will provide all possible assistance to all the disaster-affected families and the pace of relief-rehabilitation work will be accelerated.
The Chief Minister said that the government is constantly making efforts to strengthen the infrastructure like road connectivity, health facilities, education, tourism, drinking water and energy in the state. He said that the balanced and all-round development of Uttarakhand is possible only when the public representatives closely convey the expectations of the public to the government and all together ensure participation in the progress of the state.
