Mauritius Prime Minister returned after a four-day tour, CM Dhami met him at the airport, presented Char Dham Prasad

Dehradun: Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navin Chandra Ramgoolam was on a four-day visit to Uttarakhand. He returned on Monday today. CM Dhami met him at Jolly Grant Airport before leaving Uttarakhand. On this occasion, he was presented with the holy prasad of Char Dham and products of the state’s umbrella brand ‘House of Himalayas’ as a souvenir.

The Prime Minister of Mauritius expressed his gratitude while praising the hospitality tradition of Uttarakhand. CM Dhami said that today under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the flag of India is flying all over the world. This visit of the Prime Minister of Mauritius will definitely deepen and strengthen the cultural relations between India and Mauritius.

Mesmerized by the natural beauty

On the arrival of Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navin Chandra Ramgoolam in Uttarakhand, women welcomed him by singing traditional welcome songs and applying tilak on his forehead. He praised the natural beauty of Uttarakhand. He was also presented with a Tulsi garland. The Prime Minister and his wife Veena Ramgopal were mesmerized by the beautiful views of Rishikesh. This visit is expected to boost tourism and culture in Uttarakhand. During his four-day stay, the Prime Minister will also visit Rishikesh and Haridwar.

In view of his visit, tight security arrangements were made. The entire area from Dhalwala to Narendranagar bypass was declared a zero zone. Also, vehicles coming from Chamba were stopped on the bypass. Traffic became normal again only after the Prime Minister’s convoy left.
