More than 10,000 acres of government land freed in Uttarakhand, CM says in Haldwani

Haldwani: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Haldwani on a day-long visit. He was welcomed at the helipad in Gaulapar by the District Magistrate, SSP, and MLAs with a bouquet. During the meeting, State President of the Kisan Morcha and progressive farmer Narendra Mehra presented him with sugarcane, expressing his gratitude for increasing the sugarcane support price. Afterward, he departed for the Veterans’ Conference held at the CRPF Center in Kathgodam.

At the Veterans’ Conference, CM Dhami said that no soldier is ever past; he is always unique in his own right. Even after completing their service, they play a vital role in the welfare of society.

CM Dhami said, “Whenever I come among the soldiers, my heart becomes deeply emotional. I feel a deep connection with all of you because I can understand how a military family lives. Our government has made an unprecedented increase in the ex-gratia amount in tribute to the valor of our brave soldiers. Honor gates are being constructed at martyr memorials so that future generations can become familiar with the heroic tales of the soldiers and gain new inspiration.”

CM Dhami said that a system has been implemented to accommodate one member of martyr families in government service. So far, 28 families have been appointed under this provision. All our decisions are dedicated to the welfare and honor of the soldiers; this is a commitment to their respect and resolve to serve them.

CM Dhami said that our government is taking strict action against the deliberate attempts to change the demography of Devbhoomi. Taking a tough stance against land jihad, more than 10,000 acres of government land has been freed. Our government has fulfilled its election promise by implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to implement this historic step. We have fulfilled our promise to the public because we believe in delivering on our promises.
