MP: 15 IAS Officers Transferred, Mukesh Chandra Gupta Made Secy, Human Rights Commission

In a significant move in Madhya Pradesh govrenment led by the CM Mohan Yadav, 15 senior IAS officers were transferred on Sunday night, marking yet another major bureaucratic reshuffle. The changes span several departments, with several key officials reassigned to new roles.

One of the prominent shifts includes the transfer of 1992 batch IAS officer KC Gupta, the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Public Works Department (PWD), who has now been posted as the ACS to the Governor’s office. Meanwhile, 1998 batch IAS officer Mukesh Chandra Gupta, the Principal Secretary to the Governor, will now serve as Secretary at the Human Rights Commission.

Further restructuring sees 2009 batch IAS officer Amit Tomar, formerly the Additional Secretary for Personnel in the General Administration Department, now taking on the role of Inspector General of Registration.

2010 batch IAS officer Chote Singh, who served as Additional Commissioner (Revenue) for the Gwalior Division, has been appointed Director of Panchayati Raj, while Dinesh Kumar Maurya, previously Deputy Secretary in the Revenue Department, will now serve as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Controller of the Food and Drug Administration.

Additionally, 2012 batch IAS officer Arun Kumar Parmar, previously the Additional Commissioner (Revenue) for the Rewa Division, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.

2013 batch IAS officer Rajni Singh, the Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Indore, will now serve as OSD and Labour Commissioner in Indore, while Mayank Agrawal, OSD and Controller of the Food and Drug Administration, has been transferred as Managing Director of the Public Health Services Corporation Limited. Tanvi Hudda, who was awaiting posting, has been assigned as the Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Indore.

Other notable changes include 2016 batch IAS officer Neetu Mathur, the former CEO of Smart City Gwalior, who has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Revenue in the Rewa Division.

A promotee IAS officer of 2014 batch Jamuna Bhide, Deputy Secretary in the Horticulture and Food Processing Department, has been moved to serve as Secretary of the Tribal Cell at Raj Bhawan.

2016 batch IAS officer Ashish Tiwari, Deputy Secretary in the Water Resources Department, will now take on the role of Deputy Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s Office.

Further adjustments include the transfer of Sunil Dubey, Deputy Secretary in the Culture Department, to the position of CEO of the District Panchayat in Bhind, and Jagdish Kumar Gome, CEO of the District Panchayat Bhind, will now serve as Deputy Secretary in the Culture Department.

2017 batch IAS officer Manoj Kumar Sariyam, the Additional Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, has been reassigned as Additional Director in the Health Services Department.

Finally, 1993 batch IAS officer Neeraj Mandloi, the ACS of the Energy Department, has been given the additional responsibility of ACS in the PWD. Similarly, Anupam Rajan, the ACS of Higher Education, will now also handle the additional charge of the ACS for the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

This reshuffle is expected to bring new leadership dynamics to several key departments, signaling a renewed focus on governance and public service efficiency across the state.
