Nainital: President Draupadi Murmu offered prayers at the Naina Devi Temple and visited Baba Neem Karoli at Kainchi Dham

Nainital: President Draupadi Murmu is currently on a visit to Uttarakhand. On the last day of her three-day visit, the President visited the Maa Naina Devi Temple in Nainital. On the last day of her three-day visit, President Draupadi Murmu prayed for the nation’s peace and prosperity. After visiting Maa Naina Devi, the President proceeded to Kainchi Dham. There, she visited Baba Neem Karoli and received his blessings.

President Draupadi Murmu Visited the Shaktipeeth Maa Naina Devi: During her two-day stay in Nainital, President Draupadi Murmu visited the Shaktipeeth Shri Maa Naina Devi Temple on Tuesday morning and offered prayers to Maa Naina Devi. She prayed to the Mother Goddess for the nation’s happiness, peace, and prosperity. Upon arrival, officials of the temple management committee welcomed and greeted President Murmu with a bouquet of flowers. Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh was also present on this occasion.

The President prayed to Goddess Naina Devi for the nation’s peace and prosperity. Strict security arrangements were in place at the temple complex during the puja. The movement of devotees was controlled during the President’s visit. President Murmu’s arrival created an atmosphere of devotion and joy in the city.

The temple priest Jagdish Joshi performed the puja for the President. During the puja, the President spent some time in the temple and praised the Goddess.

President Draupadi Murmu also visited Neem Karoli Baba: After which, the President left for Kainchi Dham to visit the world-famous Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. President Draupadi Murmu visited Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj (Neeb Karori) at Kainchi Dham. From Kainchi Dham, the President will return to Nainital. In Nainital, she will participate in the convocation ceremony of Kumaon University, where she will honor meritorious students. After this, the President will return to Delhi.

President laid the foundation stone of the main gate of the Raj Bhavan: Earlier, President Draupadi Murmu laid the foundation stone of the newly constructed main gate of the Nainital Raj Bhavan. She was accompanied by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh and Uttarakhand Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat.

This foundation stone laying ceremony of the main gate of the Raj Bhavan is an important step towards the promotion and preservation of this heritage. Raj Bhavan Nainital, which has been a symbol of Uttarakhand’s cultural, administrative, and historical identity for the past 125 years, still holds a unique place for its architecture, natural beauty, and historical heritage. Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Secretary to the Governor Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Kaushal Kishore Shukla, Additional Secretary Reena Joshi, and other officials were present on the occasion.
