Naturopathy is necessary to get rid of stress, monthly health camp on Ayurveda inaugurated at USDMA

Dehradun. Additional Chief Executive Officer Administration of Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority Anand Swaroop said that due to today’s busy lifestyle and increasing stress, the mental and physical health of the employees is being adversely affected. In such a situation, Ayurvedic medicine and natural treatment can play a very important role in staying healthy. He said this on the occasion of the inauguration of the monthly naturopathy camp organized at Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority.

Swaroop said that through naturopathy methods, employees can not only handle pressure well by remaining stress free in adverse circumstances but can also move towards a healthy life. He told that in the camp, information about yoga, pranayama and proper routine was provided to the employees.

He said that the employees of USDMA and Disaster Management Department are always on alert mode and whenever required, they reach the office immediately and work, day or night. This camp has been organized with the aim that our employees remain healthy and fit. He told that a one-day camp will be organized every month.

Joint Chief Executive Officer Mohd. Obaidullah Ansari said that free health checkup of 86 officers and employees was done in the camp. Along with this, free Ayurvedic medicines were also distributed to all. Experts gave guidance on yoga, pranayama, balanced routine and lifestyle according to the season (Ritucharya) in the camp.

The camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Dehradun. On this occasion, Dr. Ratna Tripathi (Medical Officer in Charge), Manish Kumar (Pharmacy Officer, Chidiyamandi), Nitin Kaparvan (Pharmacy Officer) and Rajesh Kumar (Sevak) also participated actively. Dr. Mithilesh Kumar said that such camps are regularly organized by the Department of Ayurvedic and Unani Services and Naturopathy Department, so that the employees can adopt a stress-free and healthy lifestyle.

Ayurveda is a medium of complete health promotion – Suman

Secretary Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Vinod Kumar Suman says that Ayurveda can become a medium not only for disease prevention but also for complete health promotion. Through this camp, we want to introduce our officers and employees to the benefits of naturopathy, so that they can contribute with more positivity and productivity at the workplace. He expressed hope that this camp will make a significant contribution not only towards physical but also mental well-being.
