New rule for buying land in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officials

Dehradun: To buy land in Uttarakhand, now along with criminal history, the purpose of purchase will also have to be told. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that law and order should be strictly followed in Uttarakhand. Instructed the officials to thoroughly verify the outsiders living in the state.

In a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, the Chief Minister gave strict instructions to the officials on Thursday. Said that whatever outsiders are coming to buy land in the state, for what purpose are they buying land? This will have to be told. Now along with the criminal details, the purpose of purchasing the land will also have to be told. They should be asked to fill the declaration form on the prescribed format.

Before the outsiders buy land, it should also be thoroughly investigated that there is no criminal case going on against them, during the investigation, if a criminal case is found against a person, then it should be clearly mentioned on the format. The Chief Minister has directed that people with criminal tendencies should be identified. He said that strict action will be taken against those who play with law and order.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to review the problems of forest fire, drinking water and electricity by holding regular meetings. Whatever effective measures are to be taken to avoid such problems in future, should be done soon. Strict action should be taken against those who are negligent in their work.

All preparations should be kept complete in view of disaster management and the upcoming Kanwar. Senior officers of the government should be in regular touch with all the District Magistrates, any request for assistance from the districts should be resolved as soon as possible.

Instructed the officers to ensure that the funds of public welfare schemes being run by the government through various departments reach the beneficiary soon through DBT. The Finance Department and the Information Technology Department should take immediate action on this. Public problems should be resolved quickly.

Along with water conservation and enhancement, instructions were also given to run a campaign for tree plantation on a large scale. It should be linked to the public campaign. The Chief Minister also gave instructions to pay special attention to rain water harvesting and to make people aware about it.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, DGP Abhinav Kumar, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Dilip Jawalkar, Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, ADG AP Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari, Additional Secretary JC Kandpal were present in the meeting.
