Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas (Children’s Day), respectfully paid tribute to the great martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his four Sahibzadas—Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh. In his message issued on the eve of Veer Bal Diwas, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas to honor the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas is a true tribute to their sacrifice. This decision will play a crucial role in keeping alive the stories of the bravery, valor, and courage of the Sahibzadas for generations to come.
The Chief Minister said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s brave Sahibzadas, at a very young age, displayed extraordinary courage in defending religion, truth, and justice, and made the supreme sacrifice. Their sacrifice inspires the new generation with courage, valor, and patriotism, and gives us the strength to remain vigilant and dedicated to our duties.
