Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary today. CM Dhami paid tribute by garlanding his statue at Deendayal Park and the CM residence, calling his teachings and ideals a source of inspiration

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami remembered Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on Thursday, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, by garlanding his statue in Deendayal Park, Dehradun.

The Chief Minister said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay worked throughout his life for the upliftment of the deprived, poor, and backward sections of society. His teachings and ideals remain a source of inspiration even today.

The Chief Minister described Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s thoughts and commitment to Antyodaya as the inspiration for the state’s development policy. He said that the state government is continuously working towards ensuring that the benefits of central and state government schemes reach the last person in society.

The Chief Minister then paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay by paying floral tributes to his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence.

On this occasion, BJP National General Secretary for Organization, B.L. Santosh, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, MLA Khajan Das, and other public representatives were present.
