People from Uttarakhand feared affected in Goa Nightclub Fire, CM Dhami spoke with Goa CM

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant regarding the possibility of Uttarakhand citizens being affected in the Goa nightclub fire. Reports and local information regarding the serious nightclub fire in Goa’s Arpora area indicate that some Uttarakhand citizens may have been affected.

Taking this situation seriously, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami immediately spoke with Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant over the phone to obtain detailed information.

Chief Minister Dhami requested the Goa government to immediately contact their families if any affected individuals are identified as Uttarakhand residents and ensure necessary assistance—specifically, identification, treatment, financial assistance, and other formalities—is prioritized. The Goa Chief Minister assured him that necessary medical and administrative support is being provided to all affected.

Chief Minister Dhami has directed all the concerned departments of the Uttarakhand government to keep a constant watch on the incident and if any citizen of the state is confirmed to be affected, then all necessary assistance – medical, legal, counselling or any other kind – should be provided promptly to the family members.
