Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Uttarakhand Silver Jubilee event at FRI on November 9th. The traffic plan for this event was released on Friday. Separate routes have been designated for those coming from different districts of the state. Parking has also been designated. Separate arrangements have been made for guests attending the event.
This traffic plan will be in effect on November 9th from 6 am to 4 pm. Additionally, a shuttle service (green electric buses) has been arranged to the T-State parking lot, 100 meters from FRI, which will transport people to the parking lot after the event ends.
The police have also released a QR code for the traffic plan. This plan will be applicable specifically from Ghantaghar to Premnagar, Ballupur to Kamala Palace, St. Jude’s Chowk, and Premnagar to Dhulkot. Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering the city from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on November 9th.
Plan and parking locations for FRI visitors:
– Vehicles coming from Roorkee will be diverted to Asharodi, ISBT, Shimla Bypass Chowk, Niranjanpur Mandi, Kamala Palace, Balliwala Chowk, Anurag Chowk, and Shaheed Vivek Gupta Chowk.
Parking locations: Joshi Farm, Basant Vihar
– Vehicles coming from Pauri, Rudraprayag, Rishikesh, and Kumaon districts will be diverted to Jogiwala, Rispana Bridge, Old Bypass Chowki, Kargi Chowk, ISBT, Niranjanpur Mandi, Ballupur Chowk, and FRI Bradins Gate before arriving at Ranghadwala Tiraha.
Parking locations: T Estate, Mitthi Beri Village
– Vehicles coming from Uttarkashi, Mussoorie, and Rajpur will be diverted to Dilaram Chowk, Ghantaghar, Kishan Nagar Chowk, Ballupur Chowk, and FRI Travel Gate before arriving at Ranghadwala Tiraha.
Parking locations: T Estate, Mitthi Beri Village.
-Vehicles coming from Chakrata, Tyuni, Selaqui, Premnagar will arrive at Dhulkot Tiraha, Suddhowala Chowk, Premnagar Chowk, Panditwadi Chowki, Ranghadwala Tiraha, FRI Babu Gate.
Parking Location: Club Ground
-Vehicles coming from Raipur, Maldevta, Sahasradhara will arrive at Maharana Pratap Chowk, Number 6 Puliya, Fountain Chowk, Clock Tower, Kishannagar Chowk, Ballupur Chowk, FRI Brandis Gate, Ranghadwala Tiraha.

For others, the plan will be as follows:
-Vehicles from Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar, Chakrata, Sahaspur, Dehradun city, Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and the Kumaon region will be able to depart from Dhulkot Tiraha via Naya Gaon, Barowala, St. Jude’s Chowk, and ISBT.
– Vehicles from Sudhowala and Premnagar going to Dehradun city, Delhi, Haridwar can go via Premnagar Chowk via Daru Chowk, Mehunwala, Shimla Bypass Chowk, ISBT.
– Vehicles from Panditwadi going to Dehradun city, Delhi, Haridwar can go via Panditwadi via Lovely Market, Anurag Chowk, Balliwala Chowk, Saharanpur Chowk, ISBT, Delhi.
– Vehicles from Mussoorie, Rajpur Road, EC Road, Ghantaghar going towards Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar can go via Ghantaghar via Darshanlal Chowk, Prince Chowk, Shimla Bypass Chowk, Mehunwala, Nayagaon, Premnagar, Vikasnagar.
– Vehicles from Cantt Road and Chakrata Road going towards Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar can go via Ballupur via Balliwala Flyover, Kamala Palace, St. Jude’s Chowk, Mehuwala to Nayagaon, Premnagar, Vikasnagar.
– Vehicles going from ISBT Delhi, Saharanpur to Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar will be able to go via Shimla Bypass Chowk to St. Judes Chowk, Menhuwala, Nayagaon, Premnagar and Vikasnagar.
– Vehicles going from Patel Nagar to Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar will be able to go via Kamala Palace to St. Judes Chowk, Menhuwala, Nayagaon, Premnagar, Vikasnagar.
– Vehicles going from Saharanpur Road, Kanwali Road to Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar will be able to go via Balliwala Chowk to Kamala Palace, St. Judes Chowk, Menhuwala, Nayagaon, Premnagar, Vikasnagar.
– Vehicles going from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Jogiwala to Paonta Sahib, Vikasnagar, Sahaspur, Selaqui, Premnagar will be able to go via Rispana to ISBT, St. Judes Chowk, Menhuwala, Nayagaon, Premnagar, Vikasnagar.
Here will be the plan for VIPs:
– Guests arriving from Chakrata, Vikasnagar, Sahaspur, ISBT, GMS Road will arrive via Ballupur Chowk, Kaulagarh Chowk, Kaulagarh Gate, and FRI parking.
– Guests arriving from Mussoorie and Rajpur areas will arrive via Rajpur Road, Dilaram Chowk, Hathibarkala, Annexe Tiraha, CSD Tiraha, Cantt Chowk, Kaulagarh Chowk, Kaulagarh Gate, and FRI parking.
– Guests arriving from Rishikesh and Haridwar will arrive via Ghantaghar, Bindal Chowk, Kishannagar Chowk, Kaulagarh Chowk, Kaulagarh Gate, and FRI parking.
Traffic Police Assistance Center Established
SP Traffic Lokjeet Singh stated that a Traffic Police Assistance Center has been established near the VIP parking lot. Traffic assistance teams have also been deployed along the route. CCTV surveillance will be conducted from the control room. Five teams have been formed to communicate the traffic plan to the public. Officers have been deployed at various places and their numbers have also been issued.
