Dehradun: This time Uttarakhand has got the hosting of the World Ayurveda Congress Conference, which is held every two years. This event is going to be held at the Parade Ground in Dehradun from 12 to 15 December. Apart from the Union AYUSH, CM Dhami, Governor Gurmeet Singh and many big personalities will be present in the program.
There will be contemplation, brainstorming and discussions at the global level on the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo to be held in Dehradun. The government believes that the nectar coming out of this will work to awaken not only India but the world in the field of Ayurveda. Releasing the curtain raiser and program guide of the 10th World Ayurveda Congress on Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this event will also be helpful in taking the message of Sarve Santu Niramaya to every home. Announcing the program, CM Dhami said that people have seen the impact of Ayurveda and AYUSH during the pandemic.
The special thing is that more than 300 international delegates from 58 countries are participating in this Global Ayurveda Congress. While with 6500 delegates and 2 lakh researchers from across the country, this event will become a unique platform for knowledge and cooperation. Stalls of 8 departments of Uttarakhand state, Health, Skill Development, Tourism, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Industry, Garden, Rural Development will be helpful in promoting it as a major center of wellness tourism. The government wants that after this program, like yoga, the state should also get a new identity in the field of Ayurveda. Therefore, CM Dhami has also given many instructions to the officials for the program.
CM Dhami said that the construction work of 3 new 50-bed AYUSH hospitals is being done in Tehri, Kotdwar and Tanakpur in the state. The establishment of 300 Ayush-based Ayushman Arogya Mandirs has been completed in the state. Facilities like telemedicine, panchkarma and marma chikitsa are being provided in all AYUSH hospitals. More than 150 AYUSH hospitals in the state have received NABH Accreditation. Let us tell you, how capable can Uttarakhand become in terms of Ayurveda? This can be gauged from the fact that near Kotdwar in Uttarakhand is the workplace of Charak Rishi, the father of Ayurveda, it was here that he wrote Charakh Samhita.
