New Delhi: The New Delhi establishment on Tuesday notified the empanelment of four senior officials for holding Apex-level post of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) and appointment of two as Member in Railway Board.
Empanelment for Apex-level post:
A K Khandelwal (1987: IRMS), Roopa Srinivasan (1987: IRMS); Ravinder Goyal (1987: IRMS) and Hari Shankar Verma (1987: IRMS) were empanelled for holding Apex-level post in IRMS. It may be underlined that Khandelwal and Ravinder Goyal have service terms till September and November this year whereas Roopa Srinivasan and Hari Shankar Verma will remain in service till September 2025 and March 2026 respectively.
Appointment of Member, Railway Board:
Of four officers empanelled for holding Apex Scale post A K Khandelwal (1987: IRMS) was appointed as Member (Infrastructure) and Roopa Srinivasan (IRMS: 1987) was regularised as Member (Finance); a post she has been holding the additional charge since January 2024. It may be underlined that she has been heading NAIR (Vadodra) as DG since January 2024.
