In view of the weather, the Garhwal Commissioner has asked to restart the Chardham Yatra. Along with this, he has appealed to the Chardham pilgrims to travel only after looking at the weather. He said that before starting the journey, get the correct information about the weather. Stay away from the banks of the rivers. Do not rush in the journey.
A rain alert has also been issued in Uttarakhand for Monday. Due to which precautionary measures have been taken in many districts. Due to rain, orders have been issued to keep schools, Anganwadi centers closed in many districts. Nainital, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar District Magistrates have issued orders for this.
