Rajasthan: 21 IAS Officers Given Addl Charges Amid Transfer of 62 Officers; Abhay Kumar Gets IGCB Chair

Jaipur: In a sweeping administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, transferred 62 IAS officers, including 11 district collectors, in a late-night bureaucratic overhaul on Sunday.

The move, long anticipated within governance circles, also included additional charges being assigned to 21 senior IAS officers, signaling a structural shift in the state’s top administrative machinery.

Mr. Abhay Kumar – Assigned additional charge of Chairman, Indira Gandhi Canal Board

Mr. Shikhar Agrawal – Assigned additional charge of Chairman, RIICO (Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation)

Mr. Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant – Will also serve as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Justice Department and ACS, Sainik Kalyan

Mr. Ajitabh Sharma – Assigned additional charge of Chairman, State Electricity Transmission Corporation Ltd.

Mr. Alok Gupta – Assigned additional charge of CMD, Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation Limited

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav – Assigned additional charge of Chairman, Tourism Development Corporation

Mr. Vaibhav Galaria – Assigned additional charge of CMD, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation

Dr. Devashish Prishti – Assigned additional charge of Chairman, Housing Board
