Rajasthan Sends 11 IAS Officers for Training in Mussoorie; Additional Charges Assigned

Jaipur: In a recent move, eleven IAS officers from Rajasthan are being sent for training at the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. The training program, which will run from 17th February to 28th March 2025, aims to enhance the administrative skills and knowledge of the officers.

In the interim, the state government has entrusted additional responsibilities to several officers, ensuring that the administrative machinery continues to function smoothly during their absence.

Key Changes:

  • Anil Kumar Agarwal, who holds the position of Departmental Investigation Commissioner, will be replaced by Dr. Ghanshyam.
  • Ramniwas Mehta will take over as the Chief Examination Controller for the Rajasthan Lok Sabha Commission.
  • Nathmal Didel will temporarily serve as the Secretary of the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission.
  • Harimohan Meena has been assigned the additional charge as the Director and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
  • Jagjit Singh Moga will assume the additional charge of Child Rights Commissioner.

Furthermore, several other officers have been entrusted with important roles:

  • Saurabh Swami will take charge as the Executive Director of the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).
  • Shivangi Swarnkar has been given the additional charge of Director of Industries, Commerce, and CSR.
  • Nagikya Gohain will temporarily assume the position of Registrar at Agriculture University, Bikaner.
  • Ashish Modi, Director of Secondary Education, will oversee the charge of Director of Primary Education.
  • Khushal Yadav will take over as the Joint Secretary (Expenditure First) in the Finance Department.

In addition to the IAS officers, three RAS officers have also been appointed to handle important roles:

  • Sunil Poonia, RAS, will serve as the MD of Rajasthan State Food and Civil Supply Corporation.
  • Arun Prakash Sharma, RAS, will assume the role of Director and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary of the Public Services and Public Grievance Redressal Department.
  • Madhu Raghuvanshi, RAS, will take charge as the Director of the Peace and Non-Violence Department.

These appointments are expected to ensure that Rajasthan’s administrative framework continues to function efficiently while the officers undergo their specialized training in Mussoorie.
