Dehradun: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday dedicated 75 major infrastructure projects built by the Border Roads Organization to the nation. A total of nine projects of Uttarakhand are also included in all these projects. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who attended the inauguration program virtually, expressed his gratitude to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for inaugurating nine projects of Uttarakhand.
In fact, the nine projects that have been inaugurated in Uttarakhand include Karcha Bridge, Meeng Gadhera Bridge, Ghastoli Bridge, Pagal Nala Bridge in Garhwal region and office and residence of Shivalik Project in Dehradun district. Along with this, Suringghat Bridge, Chimla Bridge, Panagarh Bridge and Gosigarh Bridge have been inaugurated in Kumaon region.
At the same time, the Chief Minister said that these infrastructure projects completed in Uttarakhand will prove to be very helpful especially for the remote and deprived areas of the state. These projects will enhance connectivity as well as promote socio-economic development, which will help transform the state of the state.
These projects will not only boost tourism and the local economy, but will also generate employment opportunities. These projects will accelerate the development of vibrant village communities as well as facilitate access to remote border areas. This will also strengthen economic development and defense capabilities in these strategically important locations.
CM Dhami said that the construction of new bridges will improve the connectivity of the state. This will promote religious and general tourism as well as cultural exchange. Will establish Uttarakhand as a major tourist destination. These infrastructure projects will promote long-term sustainable development and prosperity for the region.
