Dehradun: A delegation from the Uttarakhand Unemployed Association and students with technical diplomas met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, the representatives expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for respecting the sentiments of the youth and taking serious cognizance of complaints of irregularities in the examination process, and for deciding to cancel the examination.

The officials of the association stated that the steps taken by the government to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination instill confidence and hope in the youth. They stated that the promptness and sensitivity with which the state government addressed this issue is a historic decision in the interest of the youth.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured the representatives that the state government is fully committed to a recruitment process based on merit and transparency. He stated that the government’s clear message is that there will be a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, cheating, or unfair means in any recruitment examination in Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister stated that any injustice to the hard work and talent of the youth will not be tolerated. He added that the state government has taken a strong anti-cheating stance. By implementing this law, a strong step has been taken to ensure transparency in the examination process. With the implementation of this law, any individual or organization attempting to influence the examination process will face the strictest possible action.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working to ensure fair opportunities for every eligible youth and to ensure complete transparency and reliability in all competitive examinations in the state.
