Dehradun: Responsibilities of officers in Chief Minister’s Office/Secretariat have been changed in Uttarakhand. During this, work has been divided among the officers from Principal Secretary to Additional Secretary Chief Minister level. An order has been issued from the Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office regarding the division of work.
Responsibilities of officers have been fixed for the work to be done in the Chief Minister’s Office in Uttarakhand. In this, responsibilities of various departments have been assigned to the officers from Principal Secretary to Additional Secretary Chief Minister level for the Chief Minister’s Office. In this, work has been divided between Principal Secretary Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Surendra Narayan Pandey and Additional Secretary Chief Minister Jagdish Chandra Kandpal. An order has been issued from the Principal Secretary Chief Minister’s Office in this regard.
According to the order issued, Principal Secretary Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu has got the work related to disposal of files of departments like Finance, Personnel, Home, Public Works Department, Industrial Development, Housing and Transport. Apart from this, all the cases related to other states and judiciary will also be looked after by Chief Secretary to Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu.
Secretary to Chief Minister Shailesh Bagoli will look after the work of files of departments like Council of Ministers, Energy, Agriculture, School Education, Tourism, Irrigation, Forest and Sports Department at the department level in the Chief Minister’s Office. Apart from this, he has also been given some other important works like Raj Bhavan related cases, review of the assembly constituency of the Chief Minister.
Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Shankar Pandey has also been given the responsibility of disposing of files of important departments. The Home Department which was with him earlier has been removed and he has been given the responsibility of disposing of files of important departments like Excise and Mining. Apart from this, he has also been given the responsibility of departments like State Property, Disaster Management, Urban Development, Women Empowerment and Child Development, Secretariat Administration, Information, Revenue, Labor and Drinking Water. Apart from the departments, he has also been given responsibilities like coordination with MLAs and MPs, coordination with district officials, work related to Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Secretary Surendra Narayan Pandey has been given the responsibility of disposing of files of some other important departments including Cooperatives, Animal Husbandry, Health Department, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development. Apart from this, the responsibility of requisitions sent by government departments for appointment in various commissions, giving information to the Chief Minister about the agent of the Chief Minister’s meetings, etc. has also been given to him.
Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister Jagdish Chandra Kandpal has been given the responsibility of disposing of files of departments like Horticulture Department, Social Welfare, Culture, Religious Endowment, Silk Department and Justice Department. Apart from this, coordination of the Chief Minister’s stay and tour programs outside the capital, work related to the protocol of the Chief Minister will also be looked after by Additional Secretary Jagdish Chandra Kandpal.
According to the order, link officers of the officers posted in the Chief Minister’s Office have also been decided. Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and Secretary Shailesh Bagoli have been made link officers among themselves. Similarly, Vinay Shankar Pandey and Surendra Narayan Pandey have been named as link officers.
