Review meeting of preparations of points to be placed by the state in the Central Zonal Council (CZC) chaired by Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan

Dehradun: Chief Secretary directed the Panchayati Raj Department to submit the action taken report of the guidelines of the State Finance Commission. Panchayats were directed to prepare rules within three months to generate their own revenue sources. Instructed to expand online services to provide online delivery of all important services to citizens at the Gram Panchayat level and to immediately develop adequate infrastructure for this.

Improve the ranking of indicators related to children and women

Chief Secretary directed to improve the level of implementation of schemes and programs dedicated to the all-round development of children and women through Anganwadi centers; so that malnutrition, under-nutrition, wasting, low weight etc. obstacles to child development can be reduced and the index of indicators related to this can also be improved.

The Food Safety Department informed that there is a shortage of personnel related to sampling and enforcement in the department.

On which the Chief Secretary directed the department to send the requisition for recruitment of the concerned posts to the concerned recruitment board. Also asked to complete the promotion process quickly.

In this regard, he also directed that the Secretary and the concerned District Magistrate should organize a review meeting every month for sampling and disposal of pending cases related to it and settle the pending works quickly.

Speedy investigation of child and women crimes

The Chief Secretary directed to complete the investigation in POCSO Act and rape cases quickly and also to dispose of the pending cases in the fast track court quickly to reduce crimes related to children and women. He also directed to regularly monitor these cases at both the head quarter and district level.

The Chief Secretary, while reviewing the issues related to the Urban Master Plan, directed to submit a report of land availability in all towns and to give details of all the schemes for providing affordable housing in urban areas according to different categories of beneficiaries.

Regarding the progress of smart meters, the Chief Secretary directed the Energy Department to complete the target for domestic consumers by July and for commercial consumers by September.

He directed to increase the progress of works (computerization of PACS, micro ATM distribution, multi-purpose PACS establishment etc.) to convert PACS (Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society) into Kisan Samridhi Kendra.

The Chief Secretary directed the Rural Development and Public Works Department to speed up the target of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

He directed to further improve the quality of Emergency Service Response Support System NO- 112 and make it more effective.

In relation to Ayushman Yojana, instructions were given to ensure submission of details of comparative progress in comparison to other states.

During this meeting, Secretary Chandresh Kumar and Vinod Kumar Suman, Additional Secretary Vijay Kumar Jogdande, Mrs. Sonika, Vineet Kumar, Himanshu Khurana, Apoorva Pandey and other concerned officials were present.
