Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial assistance of ₹271.33 crore for development projects in the state. The Chief Minister approved ₹10.28 crore for the improvement and strengthening of the Shaheed Balwant Singh Mehra Motorway in the Nainital Assembly constituency, and ₹9.63 crore for the construction of a prestressed span bridge on the Doonikhal to Ratighat motorway in the Betalghat development block.
The Chief Minister also approved ₹5.67 crore for the improvement of the Nagarjun-Jalali motorway in the Dwarahat Assembly constituency, and ₹5.37 crore for the improvement of the Kasialek to Dhari motorway in the Bageshwar Assembly constituency under the state plan. He also approved ₹6.64 crore for the construction of a multi-level parking lot from Khetikhaan in the Champawat development block, and ₹3.04 crore for the construction of a community hall and parking lot at Sem-Top, the Nanda Devi Raj Jat stop in Chamoli. These schemes were approved.
The Chief Minister approved 33 projects worth ₹61 crore for NABARD-funded Minor Irrigation Department projects, and a total of ₹10 crore for the central and state share for Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 projects under the Child Development Department. He also approved ₹40 crore for the Joshimath town drainage plan in Chamoli and ₹54 crore for the preparation of a DPR for the sewerage system, domestic connections, and the construction of a STP.
The Chief Minister approved ₹3.21 crore as the first installment for flood protection work in village Bishanpur on the left bank of the Kho River in Dugadda, Pauri Garhwal. He approved a ₹4.07 crore scheme for the construction of a vending zone in the Nainital Municipal Corporation. The Chief Minister approved ₹58.42 crore for the National Gram Swaraj Abhiyan under the Panchayati Raj Department.
Munni, a resident of Pauri, has been granted the Uttarakhand Democracy Fighter Honor Pension. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the Uttarakhand Democracy Fighter Honor Pension for Munni Devi, wife of the late Mohan Singh Rawat, a resident of Kyunkaleshwar, Pauri, effective December 9, 2023.
