After this, the recruitment examination of constable and inspector level officers in various departments will be held simultaneously. At the same time, the commission will not have to conduct separate examinations for these posts in different departments.
Only constable and inspector rank personnel will be recruited: The rules being made for uniformed personnel in the state were being awaited for a long time, which is now over. In fact, the Personnel Department has issued a notification of the rules and has opened the way for the recruitment of uniformed personnel in the state through a single exam. However, only constable and inspector rank personnel will be recruited in it. This rule will be implemented as the selection process rule for Uttarakhand uniformed direct recruitment.
Recruitment will also be done through a single exam: These exams will be conducted by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. In this, there will be recruitment of constable police, constable PAC and constable IRB under the police department, apart from this, recruitment of fire brigade, prison guard, forest guard, excise constable, enforcement constable and secretariat assembly building guard will also be done through the same examination.
Same rule book was implemented for the inspector level personnel: Similarly, apart from the inspector in the police department and the forester of the forest department, the same rule book has been implemented for the inspector level personnel in the excise department, enforcement department and secretariat assembly. After the introduction of a single rule book for uniformed personnel in the state, it will now be easy to fill the vacant posts.
Candidates will be able to choose different departments on the basis of preference and merit: Apart from this, candidates will be able to choose different departments on the basis of their preference and merit by giving a single exam. Candidates who are higher in merit in the recruitment can choose options for different departments and only such candidates will be given priority.

After this, it is believed that soon the commission is going to recruit on the basis of the applications received from various departments. Keeping in mind the interests and convenience of the youth of the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has described the system of integrated recruitment to the posts of uniformed sub-inspector and constable in various departments as an important step. CM Dhami said that in accordance with the commitment of the Uttarakhand government, the new rules prepared for uniformed posts will provide transparent and fair recruitment opportunities to the youth as well as strengthen the security and service system of the state.
