Dehradun: A delegation of Satsang Sanstha met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence, Dehradun. On this occasion, a cheque of ₹ 1 crore was presented to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by the organization to help the people affected by the recent natural disasters in Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this cooperation of the organization and said that this contribution will play an important role in the rehabilitation and relief work of the disaster affected people. He said that whenever a crisis befalls the state, social and religious institutions come forward with a spirit of service and cooperation – this is a symbol of Uttarakhand’s shared compassion and service culture.
The Chief Minister said that recently, disasters like heavy rains, landslides and floods have caused loss of life and property in various areas of the state. The state government is carrying out relief and rehabilitation work on a war footing. At such a time, the cooperation of every section of the society and institutions is very necessary and inspiring. The Chief Minister also said that the state government always welcomes such positive and cooperative efforts. On this occasion, Ritu Kandiyal and other members of Satsang were present.
