Second mock drill of UCC web portal also completed, technical hurdles removed, now preparations for implementation, Uttarakhand will become the first state in the country to implement uniform law

Dehradun: On Friday, a practice (mock drill) was conducted at public service centers across the state on the web portal of Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Mock drill was conducted for the second time in the state on the web portal, in which login related problems were reported from some places. The concerned officials said that whatever technical problems came in both the mock drills, they were removed in time.

In this regard, software has to be updated from time to time, which is a continuous process. Officials said that after two mock drills, Uttarakhand is preparing to implement UCC soon, although the training program will continue further.

Due to the mock drill on Friday, 2464 dummy applications were registered through public service centers, out of which 847 were filed. A total of 540 were approved, 125 were cancelled, 182 applications remained pending. This time also the time limit for processing dummy applications through Jan Seva Kendras was checked. At the same time, the officials associated with the training said that the second exercise was also successful.

Flaws in the last mock drill were removed

Earlier, due to the exercise program at the Registrar and Sub Registrar level, there was a problem of not getting OTP from Aadhaar, which was rectified by updating the related software. Last time, large videos were not being uploaded in the KYC section, this problem has also been removed.

 

The second mock drill of the UCC portal has also been successful. Exercise can be done further as well. Even after the implementation of UCC, training programs will be held from time to time as per the need.
