Send back Pakistanis who came on short-term visa from Uttarakhand soon, CM Dhami gave instructions

Dehradun: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Government of India has asked the Pakistani citizens to return. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also given instructions to send back the Pakistanis who came here on short-term visa soon. Police said that on Friday, a Pakistani couple from Dehradun has been sent to Pakistan. While action is being taken to send back another living in Haridwar.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that 26 innocent people have lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In this regard, it was decided in the CCS meeting that Pakistani citizens will have to leave India. In the meeting, it has been decided to send back the Pakistanis who came on general visa by April 27 and the Pakistanis who came on medical visa by April 29. In this sequence, the process of identifying Pakistanis in Uttarakhand has been expedited. The Director General of Police has been directed to identify Pakistani citizens and ensure quick action to send them back.

According to the police, currently 250 Pakistani citizens are living in Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital of Uttarakhand. Out of which 247 are on long term visa and 3 Pakistani citizens are living on short term visa. Two have been sent back. While the process of sending another one back is being done. He too will be sent back soon.
